Stayed at Alum Kul Kul in Oct (couldnt get a room at Niksoma when we booked in May). Resort is small and very quiet, very few kids, think there was 4 there during our stay and they were all older and very well behaved. Service was excellent. We had standard room and it was fine, bathroom was a little tired. Checked out the villas and they are awesome, however the location of the standard rooms is better than the villas. Ask for a room on the ground floor and then you only have to take 10 steps before you are in the small pool (resort has two pools). Location was great - so close to everything if you like Legian end of Kuta. Would highly recommend Alum Kul Kul.
