and loved it. Rooms were clean and as they weren't full (due to the u know what!) they were doing maintenance (painting, polishing floors etc) to most rooms so it should be looking good. The only complaint is that the pool bar was only open for the 1st 3 days of our holiday and because it was quiet, they shut it down. Had to order beer by hand signal to the restaurant.
The hotel is on the beach and yes, the people there are pushy but hey, everyone in Bali is pushy at the moment as they ALL need the money.
I went to Bali last week for 6 days and only got on Monday. This time I stayed at Dewi Sri because I needed to be near Kuta.
Try Lucky Day restaurant (on the road from Legian st to your hotel). Very clean (great toilets) feed is reasonably priced and the service is good.
