You would need to take a taxi/bemo to get to Tootsie's and the nearby beach cafes from the Santrian as it's just a bit too far to walk. However, there is plenty of market style shopping and some of the best seaside dining in Sanur, such as Donald's on the Beach, Cafe Kesumasari, Anita's to name just a few. On the street there is a good choice of street cafes/restaurants too. Also plenty of money changers, Kodak shops, tailors, and others. The swimming pools at the Santrian are very good and you have a choice of deck chairs around the pool and a number that face the sea. It's important though to ask for a renovated room as the older ones are not up to standard.
