I have just returned from 3 weeks in Bali, i stayed at the contiki resort for the last week of my trip! I had the best time there! Although there was only about 10 of us there at the time because it is sooo frickin quiet in Bali, we all became really close got on really well. The staff there are soooo amazing, we got along so well with them even the general manager jason who is from brisbane. Hate to disappoint u but the pool bar is only open til probably 7 maybe 8pm. But the sportsbar is open to late and u can just take ur drinks from there, the pool is technically only open til 11pm but we went swimming at like 1am and the general manager was with us. Ummm everything about the hotel was good no dramas at all, its a no cash resort so u put about $150 australian dollars onto the room card and then they charge whateva u buy 2 the card, like all ur drinks, internet use and so forth. Ummm what else can i tell u, live band everynite at the sportsbar, there is a niteclub we went there once cause the manager gave us drink cards for it, we were the only ones in there with about 10 staff but we had such a fun nite b4 we went into kuta, they were all dancing with us, we had our own dj playing the music we wanted 2 hear, even the security guards were dancing with us. Its about a 15 minute drive not even to Kuta costs about 30,000 rp to get there about 18,000 to get home which is barely next 2 nothing considering it cost u $5 just 2 sit in a taxi here! Um i went alone to Bali, and had booked 2 share a room with sum1 at contiki but there was not enough guests 2 share so i got my own room so did the other solo travellers, so if ur going alone, u have nothing 2 worry about u meet people there! Anyway if u need any more info let me know, i have sum pictures of the resort if u wanna have a look just let me know and ill email them! As i said i had a great time and i plan 2 go back there with a mate in July!
