Really - you have nothing to worry about. There are hundreds of people travelling to Bali (and other countries) every week with suitcases and/or medicines and they are not all ending up being arrested for drug smuggling! If you are worried about someone stashing something in your suitcase then just take precautions such as putting padlocks and tamper-tell tags on all the zips. As far as medicines go - we took over several prescription and non-prescription medicines as well as vitamins (all in their original packages/bottles) in our hand luggage and customs showed no interest in these at all. You will be amazed at how relaxed and friendly the airport and customs officials are in Bali - this was certainly our expeience a couple of weeks ago. We had no problems at all. If you are doing the right thing and have nothing to hide you will be fine. Enjoy your holiday!
