There's a couple of different networks and they're all much the same. I got my sim at the stand and Matahari and it was a Simpati (Telcommsel network). Set up in about a minute (maybe less). I got mine topped up with extra credit at the same and in total it cost me Rp140,000 and I had Rp135,000 in credit.

They have different value packs, so you can decide how much credit you'll need.
