I was in Kuta end August, I had some US$100 left over from a trip to Vietnam. I knew about them not wanting to change $US printed in 1996 because of counterfeit so I got my bank in OZ to change them for 2001 issue notes in mint condition.. Thought that would be OK, or no one of the PT Kodak wouldn't change one of my $100 as she showed me a list with the prefix CF and said they were suspect. Anyway after muttering under my breath like I'm nover getting US$ again, I went to another PT Kodak and they changed it. Not sure what it was all about but it's just annoying when they say "Have you another note" well not on me, they are back at the hotel in the safety deposit box.
Anyway hope everything goes OK for you, just make sure there are no marks, ink or biro on the notes, and no nicks or tears.
