There is a laundry at the bottom of the street called Mickeys and it was more expensive than I've ever paid in Bali. Next time I went back I mentioned the problem and he gave me a price 25.000rp cheaper than the last time and I had twice as much.

There was a place right next door to him that I never got a chance to try. If you felt like walking around to Jalan Melasti there are two Kodak shops there, the one closer to the beach always has a guy out the front called Putu and he takes you to his compound around the back. They do a great job really cheap and iron everything. Mickey's clearly didn't iron any thing.

I was too lazy to walk and it cost me.

As for rooms at the Lokha, all face on to the pool, but some have there door entry on the road side. This I found to be too noisy for such a light sleeper as myself. I moved rooms after the first night. The reason I don't mention this in the JBR is that all the others were there and nobody was bothered but little old me. I really am a problem sleeper.

Have a great trip.

Cheers
Nicno
