deMiMidi restaurant is within the GWK Cultural park. It sits high along the ridge overlooking the coasts below.
There is a deal to have part or all of the entrance fee discounted off the meal (we have forgotten to ask each time, too many wines??)
The first anniversary ceremony of the terrorist attack was held in one of the areas at the park and I believe VIPs dined in the restaurant afterwards.
Entrance to the park is 10000rp per adult plus 5000rp per vehicle.
We have been there twice now and found it to be relatively quiet. The service has been outstanding. Meals vary from around 50000rp but some mains can be up to 150000rp (the chicken fillet stuffed with lobster was 'to die for' and the beef steak was tender and tasty).
There is 'unlimited parking' within the park with lots of othr businesses open. You can buy selected handcrafts, take away food, etc.
The overwhelming attraction is the amazingly gi-normous statues of Wisna and Garuda! Have to be seen to be believed!
I expect DeMiMidi is open for lunch as well as dinner.
I have read that the GWK park would be open from 8am.
The park also holds rock concerts, dance parties. The acoustics were fantastic.
