The building may look tired but the rooms are beautifully appointed inside. We have stayed in rooms 8 and 12 and definitely have no complaints.
Yes they do face west, but the air cond units worked perfectly for us so the heat was never an issue.
Each balcony is private and overlooks the gloriously peaceful and ever changing rice fields.
We always got pool lounges although the 21 rooms very fully occupied.
Some prefer Honeymoon Guesthouse, but I get a claustophic feeling there as so many rooms are 'squashed' on to such a small area of land and the large balconies do not have any privacy.
It just gets back to 'horses for courses'.
