When my hubby had acute pancreatitis 15 years ago the Drs said the pain they experience is the nearest thing a man can have to childbirth. So perhaps the labour seemed easy after that. She was very lucky to have the child as pancreatitis is a terrible thing. A lot of people die from it. It is incredible that with the scans etc that they do that the pregnancy didn't show up before the 36 1/2 weeks.
