LOL ! It's only a very few metres, say 20 secs walk at most, and the motorbikes can see you and just stop until you get clear, no problem ! The alternative , because of the one way system, is a cab which has to take a huge loop around the back of nowhere into Kuta via the back streets
I enjoyed my stay at VRM , the villas are very quaint and private , loved the little splash pool and romantic 4-poster.. 'downside' could be the alley at the back which teems with local life and barking dogs -I never mind this as it reminds me of the 'real' Bali co-existing alongside the hotels and oblivious tourists and I like that idea ! Food very average and much better to be found 2 mins walk away in Legian St , but divine thick syrupy morning kopi in a big jug.. ahhhh ! Staff delightful , espec in the restaurant
Nice smallish clean pool , but for me not private enough as it is overlooked by the restaurant and games room
Overall I would stay here again for the privacy and convenient location , it's a change from the impersonal feeling of a large hotel
Hope this helps ! Have a lovely holiday :-)
