the association Chris and Bepak Ken belong to, Ken can be quite shy in advertising so I am going to do this for hi. I met Smudge last year at S&S and through him got to meet Chris and Ken. We looked at each other and he immediately recognised him, I had worked with Chris a while before and then recently in the same hospital as Ken. It was amazing, such a small world. Well they all began to tell me of the work they had been doing in Bali. I was amazed, they not only helped Komang Ria as you have all read, but they also support a village near Mundy, the Rehab Centre for disabled children from poor families in Sinaraja and a number of other organisations, all of whch the monies are raised by Ken and Chris and now to a smaller extent myself. Ken also supports privately with his wife an orphanage, I hope he doesn't mind me saying this. Smudge is also a very important part of this organisation and without his extensive Bali knowledge and help the job would be so much harder. They are great people and very caring but really do need a hand to further the causes of the Balinese people. The association is called Southern Cross Bali association, it is a registered charity and therefore donations are tax deductible. Any help whether it be financial or emotional, I know would be really appreciated. Anyway I am no good at JBR's but I wanted you all to know how caring these people are. Thanks for reading.
