Hi Deedee,

I'm glad the info helped!

I was told by our travel agent (who is also my boyfriend's best friend), and I was also told by other people in Bali that the Patra had the biggest standard rooms in Kuta/Tuban so you should be pretty safe with the interconnecting rooms.

The bathrooms in the standard deluxe rooms are very nice too - nicer than any other standard room I have seen in Bali. They are quite big too so you won't have any trouble there!

The only thing I would organise prior to going is getting a room CLOSE to the pool and the lobby. It's so much easier that way. They will happily accommodate (or at least they did when we were there). Ask for Irma as she is who helped us out and she was brilliant.

You will have a nice little balcony to sit outside on at night for a couple of drinks, a chat and a chance to plan the following day's adventures. We did this a fair bit. Make sure there are a table and two chairs for you on the balcony when you get there - I noticed that some rooms didn't have any. When we first got there, there was no table and chairs outside our room but within five minutes of me requesting them, they were there.

The reason why we liked the deluxe suite so much is because it gave us that extra bit of room and we liked having the couches and the bigger bathroom. It worked for us anyway. I must admit though, we didn't spend a lot of time on the couches - like I said, we mainly sat outside drinking til the early hours.

So, in conclusion, I think you should be fine with the arrangements you have at the moment. When you get there, you could always ask to see the other rooms and then if you decide to go back to the Patra, you could always know what's on offer.

Hope this helps,

Ali
