Sunscreen is the only thing that's really expensive in Bali! So if you have the chance, get the 30+-supply for your kids at home.

Regarding the other things you noted: I'm sure you'll get most of them in the Kuta area but I'm not this sure with Sanur and Ubud. I can't remember a supermarket in Ubud that looked like selling Wella Shampoo/Conditioner or Gilette Venus Razor Blades (by the way: Does it have to be necessarily "Venus"? They're selling excellent one-way razor blades which do their job as well)

I also know a couple of Kodak Shops in Kuta/Jalan Legian where you can buy any kind of photo and video camera accessories.

That sun hats are expensive in Bali is definately wrong! Buy them for you and your kids in the innumerous shops along the streets for good bargain.

There are well-equipped pharmacies in the "touristy" parts of Bali where you can get everything from aspirin over penicillin, antibiotiks to gastric medicin and dressing material. And all the stuff is a lot cheaper than at home.

Do not forget passports, tickets, hotel voucher if you have, money and traveller cheques. Most of the rest (if Venus or just a no-name-product) you can buy over there!

As a precaution I will check my own not-to-forget-list and then reply again (will leave on Sept 29th)
