It's a huge temple on the south coast that sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It's carved from Limestone and is absolutely mind blowing. The beach down at Uluwatu is amazing - the cliffs are dark volcanic rock and the coast is hard white coral. Last year we took a motorbike along the coast down to Uluwatu and walked down through the caves (watch out for the monkeys, they like to steal stuff) to the water. Kuta beach is like a landfill compared to Uluwatu. Famous surf breaks there as well.
