Got back on 18 August and switched on my mobile to discover my XL card had picked up Vodaphone coverage here in Perth! Not that 30,000Rp would have bought much of a call here..
Anyway, have since passed it on to a forumite who is no doubt kicking back with a bintang (or five)in Bali as I type this message...half her luck!
