I am a tiny bit concerned, as anybody would be with all the publicity in Australia but I think that is probably just natural.
With drugs, well, I have nothing to do with them nor does the people that I travel with so I am not concerned about that.
As for the warnings about POSSIBLE terrorist attacks, that can happen anywhere in the world right? Nowhere is safe anymore.
I keep on telling people that thousands of people travel to Indonesia every year and have no problems, just like they travel to other parts of South East Asia. There are Aussies in jails all over the world and yet they do not get the same publicity as the 2 currently in Bali.
I also think that the media in Australia goes a little bit overboard when it comes to topics on Bali, anywhere else in the world you wouldn't even hear about SC, Michelle and drugs in Bali. What annoys me is that Australians go on about how unfair the Indonesian justice system is when they should really have a look in their own backyards for a perfect example of an unfair justice system, just ask a rape victim, or the patients and families of Dr Patels.
