1. For the same reason I'd be looking at 6a too. We like our friends but we also like our privacy. If you can't get 6a its nothing to worry about, the walls are brick.
Villa 8 was being built when we were there, looked nice but is pretty close to reception. Maybe (?) you might here the staffs bikes whizzing in and out?
2. Yep, each bedroom has its own telly. That leaves the louonge for relaxing, talking and music. Also, they are linked to DVD via the computer and also internet access. (So you can keep us up to date!)
3. Its not noisy. We were over the wall from villa 8 being built and we were still flat out to hear them, and we heard nothing else. Slept like logs in fact.
The villas are off a very quiet road anyway, and Villa Kubu owns the land that is not not built on. If the cows chew their cud too noisily, ask to see the GM. Nice Guy.
4. Yeah, I'm amazed that we ended up going via San Michele to get a better rate. Can't find the quote for the life of me. That was also via my TA in Tassie.
I'd still be inclined to email and ask for their best rate. They wrote to me giving a good cut for May this year so they obviously do discount if the villas are not all booked.
P.S. Don't be put off when you drive up the road to get there. It is a series of small back lanes and you kinda get the feeling things are not going so well, but once you get past the gate, its a whole other world.
Food service from place next door not very good in our opinion. Service very good, but we can cook better. Hop up the street to a restaurant maybe?
Cheers Aly
