got back last week. She said to make sure you put the DownTown duty free in hand luggage so that it is not on show when you arrive in Denpasar Airport. She thought the customs officials seemed to be searching people who where carrying their duty free bags in plain site. I guess they were making sure that they did not have more that the allowance on them. My friend said last year they tried to get her to pay them A$10 to bring one 1.25Lt bottle of bundy in because it was "more than the allowance". She told them that was ridiculous and they let her go. I think it was a bit of a bluff. It's not that you need to hide things from them, but there is no need to be put in a position where they can go through your luggage unless they absolutely have to.
Have a great trip
