If it is not too late with your holiday booking, it can be cheaper not to get transfers included in your package, as it is only a couple of Aussie dollars to get to your hotel if you use the taxi fixed price booth at the airport.

As you have packed lightly and it is your first time to Bali why don't you avoid bargaining straight away until you get used to the place. I can highly recommend you go and visit Ketut at her fixed price shop in Legian which is a quick, cheap taxi ride or a bit of a walk. You can buy some clothes there without having to bargain and it will give you a good idea on what prices you can pay for things.

Ketuts Art Shop 14 (9)
JL. Sahadewa Gg Sorga No 2 (known as Garlic Lane by tourists)
Telephone (0361) 763410

Off Melasti Street is Sahadewa St (Garlic Lane) approx Opposite Dolphin Leather/Restaurant there is a little lane way with a row of shops and hers is the last shop on the corner she also has the shop opposite hers.

have a great trip

Kathy
