My wife ( who is Balinese) and I have 2 daughters. Our oldest daughter Tirta was born in Bali. We decided that would be her name because Tirta Empul is where we met. Tirta Empul is the second most
important temple, after Besakih, in Bali. Tirta, pronounced tear tah
means holy water .... Tirta Empul means holy water springing up from the ground. Our other daughter is Erin, in deference to my part Irish side. Erin's middle name is Setya, set tea ah, which is a Bali word for loyal.
