i live in "the shire" and studied indonesian at syd uni's "continueing education" course this feb. It was 10weeks I think wed night for a couple of hours.Took about 1 hour to get in there in peak hour traffic but worth it ( annd only about 1/2 the time to get home at 8.30pm at night !!!). It was good but firstly get the lonely planets phrase book as they have alot of stuff in there. If you take some basics you will pick up so much when you are there. The balinese love you talking bahasa to them.
