This was my 2nd trip to Bali, the first being 11 years ago when I was 17 with my dad. This trip was very different to that!!

Flying Air Paradise was great, no real luggage problems there or back, only they were insistant on the one bag limit for hand luggage, no weighing either end of the hand luggage tho :) Customs were great at both ends, 15mins through Bali customs, and hour through Adelaide (only because out flight was early).

Stayed 2 nights at the Hard Rock, Loft suite, great room, very clean, staff were great, lots of things to do in the hotel, pool awesome, only downfall was the rooster in the house behind our room, liked to crow!!! Good alarm clock tho :)

Stayed 5 nights at the Rama Beach Resort & Spa, again very clean, staff were great, had breakfast included here which was excellent, very close to the beach, great restaurant across the road which we only noticed on our last night, SA Cafe, dirt cheap and excellent quality, Spring Roll Entree 11,000 ($1.50), Sauteed Beef with Veg & Rice 15,500 ($2.10), bottle of soda water 8500 ($1.15), not bad, and I was stuff after all that, big serves, highly recommend.

Shopping was good as always, bought some watches 40,000 each ($5.40) bought 4 at once, t-shirts 30-35,000 ($5.00 max), perfume 40,000 ($5.40) from department store, found these to be better quality on the street, got offered same cool water perfume as I had bought for 30,000, but when I asked to smell it, the bottle was completely different, and it smelt nothing like cool water and sprayed like water, my tip, always ask to smell before you buy :) Of course DVD's great quality from Softcomp in Poppies 2 at 10,000 each with the obiligtory free ones thrown in.

Waterbom park was great, only went for the one day, although would go back if I visited again, cost around $22.00 AUS, only downfall was the stairs!! My god the stairs!! Would have gone on the slides so many more times if it wasn't for those stairs!

Bread Talk, love Bread Talk, the best bakery ever, fell in love with this place, cakes, danishes, cheesecake, savory, perfect quality and the majority was under $1 each! They baked all day so everything was soooo fresh, if your a bakery fan, check this place out!

Had lunch special at Bubba Gumps, 50,000 ($6.70) for Nasi Goreng or Burger and chips, free drink and soft serve ice cream, great staff, lots of fun, great food.

Part 2 to come, have had memory fade now and can't think of all the fabulous things that we did! Whoops, wait for more..................
