casual clothes just about anywhere but if you go to some of the more upmarket restaurants it's nice to dress a bit better. This would still be casual in terms of dressing up at home (for me anyway).
I usually buy a few nice outfits at Animale so would wear one of those if going somewhere nice. I bring a few Bali dresses, Bali short sets, (I've been heaps and don't need to buy more) 2 costumes,2 sarongs, 4 undies (I find that's plenty as I live in a costume during the day and just get my washing done every 3 days). A pair of 3/4 pants and a couple of tops. Not much else except toiletries but that's not much either as I stock up when I get there as it's so cheap. At the end I get my clothes done so are ready to put back in my drawers ready for next time.
Most people bring too much. It's taken me many trips to cut right down. I fit all my stuff in the cabin bag.
