They will allocate seating in executive class ahead. I have booked, paid and allocated seating for September in executive class. This will be our second bus flight with Garuda and we have done Aust Airline as well, but prefer to get a little more room, service, and sleep (on the way home). They usually have a wide bodied airbus from memory up the front is two two and two... if you search the forum someone has posted a site for the layout of the airbus site.
