only ever (Brother & sister inlaws) have spoken to hubby about borrowing or wanting/needing funds for various plans etc!!!
Last time he called & spoke to his brother again it came up about the really high cost of the gas bill, to which Hubby replied, well in Aust we pay XXX amount of $$'s for Home Loan, then house insurance, Rego (which he still struggles to understand what it's for!) Also car insurance, how much we earn & then bills & then when he mentioned petrol they finally gave up!!!
He then told his Mum we have lot's more living expenses in Australia, my brothers & sisters are asking for monewy & I feel bad, please tell them to stop! His Mum was livid & said we should not be expected to help pay for them to live!
We do send gifts & some monies into an account for Mum & Dad as they are now retired & look after our rooms at their place etc, plus for Ceremonies etc... But it's really not a large sum...
I do not mind helping them out at all & said to hubby I don't mind, but when we literally have nothing I don't want to be made to feel bad, so he has said we won't send anything!
His brother called one time to say he hated his helmet & he'd like a new one, then sent the code for it, we looked & it was $480!!!! We laughed & said NO!
His younger brothewr sent him a text message last week saying it's my birthday in August, I was hoping for a new drum kit!? Hee hee!
I love them dearly, but it does get annoying!
