We still dine out on stories about this place. The hotel is run down and is quite basic. It is located down a narrow lane which runs past houses where the locals always have a friendly smile for the weary traveller who has walked the 200m from the main road. The hotel restaurant is a quite 'interesting' and even the staff look surprised when someone walks in for a meal. It is cheap though and the little chickens who greet you at the front are quite cute. Very good value if you are on a tight budget.
For $150-$200 you can get a far superior hotel closer to the action.
