Sounds like where you stayed is the ideal spot cause of all the traffic congestion.We are staying at the Kuta Paradiso in August and partly chose it for the location.We are doing the opposite and travelling first time without the kids.We thought we could walk to just about everything and not have to worry about the heat and 3 kids in tow.Sounds like you had a great trip.
