We stayed at the Kartika last month - totally awesome hotel - loved it - great location and great surrounds. The pool is huge, heaps of loungers, the food is fabulous (breakfast included). The rooms are roomy, well maintained and cleaned well. The bathroom is great - all up a fabulous hotel. My girlfriend stayed at the Ramada last year and said it was a fabulous hotel - they took their child and he had a fabulous time. I would say they are both good hotels from all accounts. However I can only comment on the Kartike - I will definitely be staying there again.
