My friend has a farm in country Victoria and they have had to shoot a few feral animals in their time but that is about livelihood, not about relaxing on a beach, popping pellets into a cats arse for fun and watching them crawl off to a painful death no doubt.
Its a totally seperate argument which I'm sure you can see. Country people aren't viewed as killers because they have reason. The death of an animal is never pleasant but city folk (like me) realise that living in the country, its the way its done and part of life in order to protect whats yours I guess.
