If you've only got bathroom scales, stand on the scales holding the bag and remember the weight then stand on the scales without the bag and remember your weight. Subtract your weight from the total weight and you have the weight of the bag.
Sounds logical, but I hadn't thought of it when trying to weigh bags, so I suspect others are a "silly" as me.
