Everyone has different preferences, Sanur is nice but would bore the hell out of my kids, and although i havent stayed at the Dynasty ive visited friends there and found it, and its location to be Ok.
Its in a quieter part of Kuta called Tuban about 2 kilometers from kuta about $2 by taxi, There's plenty of things to do for kids of all ages all within walking distance, it also has a small market in the laneway beside it and down on the beach,
