Come to think of it, I highly doubt this. Most Geckos are actually on walls and roofs and I've never seen a dehydrated, unbalanced cat with no tail climb up the side of a wall and chase a Gecko across the roof while its upside down and kill it. The Geckos are way too quick for any cat I've ever seen.
