I get there about 7.00am (I'm a night person). Make sure you buy some cakes. They are fresh everyday. The local ladies buy them to sell to shop keepers (you know the ones you see walking around with the little baskets). They are only 500rp.
I usually buy some for the staff at the hotel and for local friends.
Last time I bought a heap and took them to the school. The teachers thought it was great.
It's interesting. Fresh? chickens, meat etc. Not many tourists there. Mainly locals. Bring your own coke bottle and you can even buy petrol for the bike.
Well worth a visit.
