You just reminded me why I had never posted a JBR before.
I think I need to just to clarify a few matters:
i) Many hotels have signs saying that if lounges are left unattended for a certain period (and there is a shortage due to demand) they will simply take them away (with any belongings). We only left them unattended between 7:30am and 9:00 while we (and everyone else) were having breakfast etc AND THERE WAS NO DEMAND. My wife has a melanon difficiency in her skin and can't take the sun - that's why we try and reserve a shady spot.
ii) Some hotels have signs around certain pools saying kids under 12 or 13 are not allowed unless supervised by an adult - one would hope that included showing consideration for others that have paid good money to get some relaxation!!
iii)Hopefully your saw the thread below regarding floaties. As I mentioned we were not talking toddlers floaties or devices to assist swimming but bloody huge things like air matresses!
You didn't need to go on as you had already offended. It was my first and it will also be my last JBR.
I also think too much information about the prices paid advantages the tourist to the detriment of the poor Balinese stall holders.
