Our last visit to Bali was in 1999 and I am sure there have been many changes over this time. We are off to Bali again in September and can't wait. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help with.
VOA - is AUD OK at the airport - are the queues horrendous - can you / is there any advantage to purchasing a visa before you go?
Shoes - my daughter who is travelling with us takes ladies size 12 shoes - can you buy these sizes in Bali, if not, how much to have shoes made?
Tailors - I have seen prices quoted around $100-150 for a suit - does this include the fabric, or is this just the 'tailoring'? Are the available fabrics good quality, or should you take your own fabric?
Clothes - can you get ladies clothes anywhere in size 24-26? or is having them made the only option? Is there anyone who has had larger clothes made, and can you recommend a tailor?
Shopping - Tootsies at Sindhu beach market used to be the shop of choice for a lot of forumites - is it still there? Are there others just as good?
I am sure other questions will come up before we go but I am trying to glean as much info as I can by reading back through the archives.
