it seemed quite quiet while we were there, but then breakfast was always full of people so I can only assume that people took off for the day rather than spend a lot of time by the pool. The place itself is a nice hotel....just make sure you get the room you requested and paid for. The rooms were clean and cleaned well. The food (only had breakfast and the occasional lunch by the pool) was great - my partner swore by their Paradiso Burger! - I swore by their pizza :-) The pool is unusual in shape but fine - with lots of shadespots and lots of sun spots. They have a basketball hoop in the pool for some pool basketball! Its close to everything so you should be fine. Across the road is stadium cafe which has good food and even better live sports on a big screen! The art markets are right next to the hotel, and its a short walk to kuta square, mataharis etc and of course the new Discovery Mall.
