It was almost deserted in Sanur but a few more in Kuta. We went to the Art Markets near Kuta square one day and you could not see another tourist from one end of the markets to the other. Hotel staff did say the occupancy rates would be going up with the school holidays.
The usual Aussie haunt hotels were running at 80-90% occupancy though but it didn't translate to people out spending money (they were probably laying on their floaties in the pool)
