Sounds like things have changed since our honeymoon at the Kuta Beach Club - actually I think it burned down in the early 80's and was rebuilt (for the better). Then again most things have changed in Bali since 1980. My friends revisited the KBC for their 25th wedding anniversary last year and said that some of the original staff were still there.
