Just got back from staying at the Bounty. Loved it. Very social and very central. Being an 18 year old I think you'll fit right in. It get's a bit noisy around the main pool so i'd try and get a room away from there if you plan to sleep alot. Bintangs were quite expensive at the pool bar and you charge everything to your room so keep a lid on it. The staff were helpful, friendly and tolerant. They don't seem to have many rules there so pretty much anything goes. They also do manicures, braiding, massage and tatts by the pool at reasonable prices so you can get the full treatment in comfort. You'll get mobbed by traders as soon as you walk out of the hotel but I didn't mind. They have onsite internet above the pool area. The place really does a good job of catering for young Aussies although it's not that close to the beach. Stick a bintang label on the bar for me!
