Between last August and March they have totally cleaned up the beach area in Sanur. Reminds me very much of Koh Samui.
By day sun lounges are rented on the sand then late afternoon the beach is raked and tables and chairs are set up for dinner. I think it looks lovely. Places like the Bonsai just provide plastic table and chairs and no longer the ugly tin sheds.
I think it way better in the long run.
Like Kayzee said, I think its the way you handle the ladies who meet and greet you when you arrive at the Sindhu market. Dont accept their company as you stride to the stall of choice!
