The restaurant at Watergarden is pretty good. It is one of the few places in Bali (except for the 5* hotels), which offers decaf coffee to its clients. But there is a French restaurant in the village few kilometers away (toward Klungkung) from C.D., in Sengkidu village. It is part of a homestay called AMARTA Beach Inn Bungalows. From the main road, the small road leading to the retaurant and beach is across the school SMA, and next to the Volleyball ground with the big tree and temple. This is a "no-star" restaurant of course, but the chefs have been trained by several French chefs (seriously) and the food is excellent and cheap.
