Get them rolled for sure, theres no other option really as they are on the canvas frames and you won't get them back in other way. They'll do it all for you in the shop so its easy to carry. There were a few painting shops around all carrying similar stuff and it depends if you are into traditional or abstract. Most of the big galleries I think are mainly traditional and a waste of time if you are after more modern styles. We got one very large painting from a shop next door to Sakura DVD shop in Kuta and the other 2 from a smaller shop in Sanur on the beach side opposite 'The Seven Seas' Restaurant. There is alot of the same pictures everywhere and make sure you barter, we did day after day and thought just under $50 each wasn't too bad. I'll put pics of them on the net shortly for people to look at but we were happy to pay that sort of price cos they were our style and we can't find anything in Melbourne like that for under $200 each. They generally started at 1,200,000rph for 2 and we ended up getting 2 together for 700,000rph and the bigger one on its own was about 400,000 if I remember correctly. Good luck.
