I am not exactly sure what you mean in your post but you are allowed to each carry 7kg as cabin luggage plus 20kg of hold luggage. Going over to Bali usually allows a bit more without threat of excess.
I agree with 'bluey' why not take lots of old clothes to give to the locals. They love bras, tshirts, sweaters, shoes, pants, jeans etc.
