Thanks everyone on this site, there are 11 of us heading to Bali this weekend from the chilled streets of Melbourne to Bintang, bargaining and beaches.
OK so I am now armed with a suitcase full of notes. I have written down heaps on everything from where to get the best coldest beer to location of Elephants. Although I expect that which ever park we choose to see elephants- I am sure that there will be more BTF members there than at S&S, judging by the questions on how much ,which is better etc etc.
So anyone going through Tulla on Sunday morning watch out for the group with a case of raspberry juice, aqua ear, lomitol, a vat of 30+ sunscreen, 0nly 1 litre duty free per person (I don't feel like pushing my luck this year) a photo album of tailoring suggestions, 3 kilometres of glad wrap to be brought home afterwards, tampertells hanging of every surface on fixture, combination locks on our now impenetrable luggage. Damn have I left my passport in that bag- quick unwrap everything 'where is my passport' Got my US $25..'what do you mean you just spent it in the duty free for smokes!' Need that plane Thx again I have read this forum every day for the past 160 long days... hear we come. Bugger forgot to check the rupiah rate -again! Drew,
