I was a bit scared after reading your 1st JBR report that Bali had lost it's magic in your eyes. Seems that Sanur and the Griya Santrian brought back the "real" Bali to you. Thank God for that. We (14 of us) have just 52 sleeps to go before we head for the Bali Rani in Tuban. We will have at least 3 day trips to Sanur and we hope to include the Lazer Bar for a meal. A couple of questions Madge if you don't mind. 1. Are bookings essential for the Hulu Cafe? 2. Do they still serve draft Bintang at the Lazer Bar? 3. Is Kalpatharu Restaurant still operating and if you went there, did you manage to get a cold Bintang? 4. Did you survive in Bali without a smoke?
