you intend to visit busy night spots, we went to the sports bar in Jl Kartika to watch the AFL last Sat night, it was chockers with Aussies and felt unsafe there, but nothing happened. I guess if it had it would be a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. There could be lots of areas which could be unsafe, but then you would stay at home. I spoke to a guy at our hotel who had been in Bali for a few weeks and he had heard of a new Terrorist warning,but was not worried, he was in Bali staying at Nusa Dua on 12th Oct bombing, he was one of the few people that didn't leave, said he felt safer then.
