We arrived back on Saturday after spending 7 days there.
We felt pretty safe. We tended to avoid the busy night spots and were aware of what was going on around you.
There is always a concern when you travel to such places but it is the same as travelling to many places in the world now. Places like London and New York are still targets for terrorists. It could happen anywhere.
We had a great time and the Balinese people were most welcoming. The locals really appreciate us still travelling even though there are warnings etc. They rely so much on tourism.
It is really a personal prefernce and if it is going to be on your mind whilst you are there then it is something to think about.
