Travel Warning - Should I be worried?

Hi I'm due to travel to Bali on the 13 August and have heard from a few people that there are severe travel warnings against all non essential travel to Bali. Can anyone please tell me if they have heard they have travelled there recently, live there and should I be worried enough to cancell my trip.
